" SUGBONsai Exhibit & Workshop "

Bon-sai - a word that is translated as "planted in a container" in Japanese.

Last April 23-27, 2021, in line with the 500th Celebration of Christianity here in Cebu.

Lapu-lapu City held " SUGBONsai Exhibit ", a collection of Baonsais from different Bonsai Enthusiast.

It's a five-day exhibit, open to everyone who can enjoy taking photos or buy Bonsais at the event. Everybody who visited the exhibit really wowed in every piece of Bonsais, I myself enjoyed everything I saw. They're really an art. Each one had its own beauty and characteristics.

The exhibit was supported by the Lapu-Lapu city Government and endorsed by Mayor " Ahong " Chan himself. He even took the Ribbon Cutting during the opening of the event in Mactan New Town Grounds.

Mr. Edmond Ligan, The President of SUGBONsai Society, encouraged everybody to try growing Bonsai through their workshops. This is a great chance for every Plantito and Plantita to venture into another kind of hobby.

Can you imagine the prices of Bonsai ranges from P300-P1.9M and even higher than that?

It's a surprise to know how much these Bonsais can be sold to collectors. Of course, nobody said it was easy, that is why they had workshops for those who are interested in growing Bonsai. They conducted workshops every month.
