"PASIGARBO SA SUGBU 2019"
2019 is full of surprises for Cebuanos .After years of not having "Pasagarbo sa Sugbo" , Now it is back!For those who haven't heard of Pasigarbo sa Sugbo, This is a festivity of giving thanks and glory.The word "GARBO" means PRIDE ,and SUGBO is an ancient word of Sibu ( Cebu )means "TRADE" /Pride of Cebu.Each Municipalities and towns will perform their each festival through street dancing. You can compare it to Sinulog but the difference is ,the way how they portray their dance. Sinulog is a dance for Sto. Niño while Pasigarbo sa Sugbo focuses on their towns pride.
44 Participants from different Cities and Munipalities joined Pasigarbo Sa Sugbo this 2019.
Competing for the title and representing their pride.
Just Like any other festivals! There has to be a Festival Queen.
I wasn't able to watch the Competition for the Queens but as I walked down the street I saw
Marla Alforque the Pasigarbo Sa Sugbo Queen 2019. I'm so Lucky enough to complete this blog.
She gracefully dance and wave her hands to the crowd.She has this different aura that made me convinced,she deserved the Crown.
